The philosopher Teacher

Of all the sciences that instills in the mind of a child while working in his upbringing, the mysteries of Christianity, though one of the most sublime parts of this education, no doubt, however, are those that enter the more facilities in his young mind. For example to persuade a young man of fourteen or fifteen years that God the Father and God the son are one, that is the son consubstantial with the father and the father is the son, etc.. All this, however necessary, however, that this is the happiness of life is harder to hear than algebra and when we want to succeed, it is necessary to employ certain physical expressions of certain material explanations, all of which disproportionately they are, yet easy for a young man knowledge of the mysterious object.

Nobody was more deeply imbued with this method the Abbe Du Parquet, tutor to the young Earl of Nerceuil, aged about fifteen years and the most pretty face it was impossible to see.

- Mr Abbot said the small daily count to his teacher, indeed consubstantiality is above my strength, I find it absolutely impossible to hear that two people can not do that: expand me this mystery, I beseech you, or at least put it within my reach.

The honest abbot, envious of his success in education, happy to help his pupil all that could one day make a nice topic, devised a rather pleasant way to overcome the difficulties which embarrassed the count, and this plea in nature would necessarily succeed. He brought home a girl of thirteen or fourteen years with the cute well-educated, he joint his young pupil.

- Well, he said, now, my friend, the mystery of designing consubstantiality: do you understand with less effort it is possible that two people do not do that?

- Oh my God, yes, Monsieur l'Abbe, "said the charming fanatic, I hear everything now with surprising ease, I do not wonder if this mystery is, they say, all the joy of heavenly persons, because He is very sweet when we are both having fun to be one.

A few days later, the little Count begged his teacher to give him another lesson, because, he claimed, there was still something in the mystery he could not hear well and could not explain that by celebrating again as he had already done. The abbe complacent that this scene probably amused as much as his pupil, brought back the girl and the lesson again, but this time, Father greatly excited at the prospect that the pretty delicious to Nerceuil presented by him with his Consubstantiation companion, could not keep themselves to others in the explanation of the Gospel parable, and the beauty that his hands should go to end it soon by the fully ignite.

- I think it goes much too quickly, "said prosecutors in the kidneys of captivating little count, too much elasticity in the movement, from which it follows that the conjunction is no longer present if less intimate image the mystery that this show here ... If we set, yes, this way, "said the rogue making his school that it lends to the girl.

- Ah! oh my God, you do me wrong, Father, "said the young child, but this ceremony seems useless as it tells me more about the mystery?

- Ventrebleu Well, "said the abbot, stammering fun, do not you see, my dear friend, I teach you everything at once? This is the trinity, my child ... the trinity is that today I'll explain, another five or six lessons and you will be like a doctor of Sorbonne.
